In 2025, we launched a project with CUOA Business School to rethink the entire digital experience, starting from the institutional website and extending to the design of an advanced, scalable learning platform.
The work focused on UI and UX design, information architecture, and the definition of a hub & spoke model, with cuoa.it as the central hub and dedicated satellite sites for Training and Careers.
The Training site was designed as a course e-commerce platform, while the Careers site is planned as a “to-be” development for 2026, already conceptually integrated into the overall architecture.
Special attention was given to accessibility by design, with the goal of achieving WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance, addressing contrast, readability, interactions, and inclusive navigation paths from the earliest design stages.
From a technological and infrastructural perspective, the project is built on a modern, scalable architecture: the institutional site uses WordPress as a back office, with development in PHP; the Training platform is developed as a web application using Next.js (a React-based framework), leverages Strapi as a headless CMS for content management, and is hosted on AWS infrastructure.
The e-commerce integrates AWS Cognito for authentication and SSO, Infinity Zucchetti for operational and management processes, and UniCredit as the payment gateway.
The result is a contemporary, accessible, and flexible digital foundation designed to support CUOA Business School in enhancing its institutional identity and educational offering, both today and in future developments.
